Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Connected Christian Network website and mobile app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country, and at least 13 years old.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community standards below.
Acceptable use
The Service is for encouragement, teaching, prayer and fellowship. When you post prayer requests, testimonies, comments, discussion messages or other content, you agree not to:
- post unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit or violent content;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
- spam, advertise, or solicit funds outside the official giving features;
- attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the Service, or circumvent its rate limits and access controls;
- upload malware or infringe someone else's intellectual property.
Group leaders and moderators may remove content and members within their groups. We may remove any content or restrict any account at our discretion to keep the community safe.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant CCN a non-exclusive licence to store, display and distribute that content within the Service so it can function (for example showing your prayer request to the people it is shared with). You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
Giving
Donations are handled on the CCN website by our payment provider and are subject to that provider's terms. The mobile app does not process payments. Gifts are generally non-refundable except as required by law.
Third-party services
The Service uses Google Firebase (notifications, analytics, crash reporting) and Daily.co (group video meetings). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Spiritual and pastoral content is offered for encouragement and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or counselling advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCN is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; we will change the "last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may discontinue features or the Service with reasonable notice where practical.
