About This Sermon

www.repentancerevival.com A HISTORICAL LOOK AT THE AZUSA REVIVAL A historical look at the Modern Pentecostal Movement that took place in Los Angeles, CA from 1906 to 1909: The Azusa Street Mission & Revival. All revivals usually begin with fervent prayer. There is usually a hunger for a move of God. In the Azusa Revival God used William J. Seymour as the revival's spiritual leader. William Seymour was a very humble man, who prayed at times five to seven hours a day. Eyewitnesses often referred to Seymour as having almost a helpless dependence on God, almost childlike. The Azusa Revival touched many people, in Los Angeles, and around the world. Many were filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of tongues, at the revival. Many were healed. Many were anointed for the ministry. All who came in contact with God were humbled in His presence.
